Custom Book Options

You give me a general concept for what you'd like (e.g. "I'd like a dragon flying on the cover above the title"), and then I'll run with it from there. If you like, you can also give me examples of font styles that you like for the title/author. Keep in mind that the design and title will be applied in single-color foil, so the object or concept you choose needs to look good in one color. If you're not sure what you'd like on the cover, I recommend thinking about central objects or motifs that are important in the book. If you don't want any graphical elements and just want the title, that's an option too!

Note that more detailed requests can impact pricing, and that there's a limit to how complex the design can be. This option works well for design requests that involve straightforward objects, concepts, and/or borders - not for scenes, faces/characters, or other very intricate elements. I match customer design requests to the greatest extent possible, but do not offer mock-ups or an approval process on designs. If you'd like more precise control over the cover design, you can send me specific vector images that you have the rights to use! This can be:

• Images you've created yourself.
• Images that you've obtained direct permission from the artist to use.
• Images you've purchased from a stock image website, as long as the license you purchased permits it (this applies to most stock image sites that offer a standard license, but I can help you check if you tell me the site name).
• Custom images that you worked with a dedicated graphic design artist to create - this is a good way to go if you want an image exactly to your specifications.

Just note that vector images are ultimately applied from single-color foil, so they need to look good in one color and cannot have extremely thin lines or tiny dots. I'm happy to look over artwork to make sure it'll work well! If you work with an artist, I will also need some sort of verification that you have permission from the artist to use the art - this could be as simple as a screenshot of messages. :)
